Our recent Summer Show held at the Brightwater Hall on 31st January delivered colour, quality and enthusiasm in spades, with an outstanding number of entries across all sections and a fantastic mix of seasoned exhibitors and first-time entrants.
Notice of two Special General Meetings for the Brightwater Horticultural Society Inc. on Sunday, 2nd November 2025, to vote on the Society’s dissolution and the formation of a new Brightwater Horticultural Society, followed by the election of new officers.
What a blooming success! The 2025 Spring Flower Show showcased an incredible range of talent and dedication from gardeners, floral artists, and craft enthusiasts of all ages. With 367 daffodil stems exhibited, this year’s show was truly a celebration of colour, creativity, and community spirit.

The Brightwater Horticultural Society’s Summer Show on 8th February 2025 was a spectacular celebration of gardening talent, showcasing an incredible array of blooms, floral art, and homegrown produce. Enthusiastic exhibitors from all backgrounds—from seasoned competitors to first-time entrants—put forward their best displays, making for a vibrant and competitive event.
The Brightwater Horticultural Society’s 2024 Spring Flower Show, held at Brightwater Hall on September 21st, was a spectacular celebration of floral beauty and community spirit.
Held February 3rd at the Brightwater Hall, this years summer flower show was fantastic. There was an amazing turnout of beautiful exhibits. Thank you to everyone who made this possible and the huge effort from the committee members and volunteers. Cath Smart – President
